Restart your modem in My Account

As a first step, our team of experts recommends that you use My Account to reset your modem. To do so:


1. Sign in to your account.

2. Select Equipment’ from the side menu.

3. Under Troubleshooting Steps’, select the reset button that matches your modem type.

Restart your modem manually

Did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in? We know, you've heard this a thousand times before, but it's an effective method for troubleshooting modem-related issues. Si las luces del módem o la puerta de enlace funcionan correctamente, intenta reiniciarlo manualmente siguiendo estos pasos:

If your modem has a battery, remove it before proceeding with the steps below and reinstall it when you’re finished.

1. Locate and unplug your power cord.

2. Make sure the coaxial cable is tight.

3. Plug the power cord back into your modem.

4. If the first few lights on the modem turn solid, your reset was successful!
